I initially trained in Garden Design and Horticulture at the Scottish Agricultural College, the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, and the University of Cumbria. I have worked as a Garden Designer since 2009, working in the gardens at the Palace of Holyrood (the first recorded woman to work there) , National Trust and Listed gardens, in addition to private gardens, both large and small.
I diversified into Interior Design in 2018, when customers whose garden I was working on asked me to help them with their interior as well. In many ways it was a very natural transition, working in both disciplines on the application of proportion, shape, colour and texture to achieve harmonious surroundings, whether inside or out.
